A credible source
can be explained.
Introduce a lawful gold or mineral supply opportunity for preliminary review by Kikan.ca Inc.
- Supplier
- Identifiable
- Source
- Supportable
- Conduct
- Reviewable
Submitting an application does not create approval, exclusivity, agency, partnership, a purchase commitment or permission to represent Kikan. Kikan does not guarantee acceptance, price, volume, funding, purchase, export, delivery or a transaction.
Application purpose
Present the opportunity—not only the material.
Gold cannot be separated from the people, rights, place and route behind it.
Kikan’s preliminary review considers the supplier’s legal identity, ownership and control, authority, source, mining or trading rights, production context, product, custody, route, responsible conduct and willingness to cooperate.
Applications may require clarification, verification, specialist review or corrective measures. Kikan may pause or decline an opportunity when information is incomplete, inconsistent, unlawful, misleading or unable to support responsible progression.
Who may apply
Direct participation and clear authority.
Supplier type does not determine approval. Every applicant must identify its role and support its authority within the proposed supply chain.
Mine owners and producers
Lawful rights holders or operators able to explain origin, licences, production, ownership and responsible operating context.
Cooperatives and associations
Legitimate organizations able to identify members, governance, aggregation controls, source areas and authority to market material.
Aggregators and exporters
Authorized businesses able to trace supplier relationships, custody, processing, export rights and the route to market.
Mandated representatives
Representatives who disclose the principal, their exact role and reliable evidence of current authority.
Kikan may require direct engagement with the mine owner, producer, supplier or rights holder. Anonymous introductions, broker chains, transferable mandates and unsupported claims of exclusive authority are not sufficient.
Prepare the application
Five parts of a reviewable opportunity.
Begin with an accurate summary. Kikan will request sensitive documents only through an approved process if the application progresses.

Application pathway
From initial disclosure to controlled participation.
Progression remains conditional. A change in party, source, product, route, rights or risk can return the opportunity to an earlier gate.

- 05Risk response

Refresh material information and review changes, incidents and each proposed transaction throughout the relationship.
Artisanal and small-scale suppliers
Small scale is not automatic exclusion.
Artisanal and small-scale mining can support livelihoods and local economies while also carrying elevated legal, child-labour, forced-labour, safety, environmental, conflict and traceability risks.
Kikan considers legality, evidence, source visibility, the severity of risks, existing controls and credible willingness to improve. Responsible engagement or capacity building may be appropriate in some cases; severe abuse, prohibited dealings, deception or unaddressed risks may require rejection or disengagement.
Read the Responsible Sourcing ApproachApplication boundaries
What submission does not establish.
Applicants remain responsible for their own costs, conduct, claims, legal obligations and decisions unless an authorized agreement states otherwise.
No application confirms that Kikan will buy, finance, market, export, transport, insure, assay, refine or accept material.
No applicant may use Kikan’s name, logo, documents or application status to claim partnership, approval, certification or buyer commitment.
No sample, photograph, assay, permit or document alone proves identity, origin, ownership, quality, volume or lawful rights.
No fee, commission, facilitation payment, gift or political connection can secure approval or bypass review.
No applicant should ship gold, samples or original records—or incur costs on Kikan’s behalf—without explicit written authorization.
Initial supplier application
Introduce the supplier and source.
Use the form for a concise, non-sensitive application. Kikan may request additional evidence through an approved process if the opportunity fits its current scope.
Do not submit passports, licences, permits, contracts, assay reports, bank details, identity files, exact mine or stock coordinates, security arrangements or original documents through this initial form.
Information is submitted for initial application review only. Review the Privacy Policy and Supplier Standards. Submission does not create approval or a commercial relationship.
Application risk signals
Inconsistency changes the pathway.
Kikan may ask further questions, escalate review, pause the application or decline it.

Supplier application questions
Direct answers.
Clear expectations for prospective suppliers and partners.
Who can submit a supplier application?
A lawful mine owner, producer, cooperative, aggregator, exporter or properly mandated representative may submit an initial application and must clearly identify its role.
What information should I provide initially?
Provide the supplier identity, role, source country and general region, rights or authority, product form, indicative range, responsible-conduct context and proposed route without attaching sensitive records.
Does Kikan accept artisanal and small-scale suppliers?
Small scale is not automatic approval or exclusion. Kikan considers legality, source, evidence, risks, controls, traceability and willingness to improve.
Does submitting an assay or permit prove the opportunity?
No. Documents must be assessed in context and may require confirmation. A single assay, permit, photograph or certificate does not prove all relevant claims.
Will Kikan pay an application or facilitation fee?
No website application authorizes a fee, commission, expense or payment on Kikan’s behalf. Any legitimate commercial obligation requires explicit authorized documentation.
Can I say that I am an approved Kikan supplier after applying?
No. Application, review or discussion does not authorize any claim of approval, partnership, certification, representation or commercial commitment.
